Sunshine Coast Child Care lists Presbyterian Ladies' College Early Learning Centre in Burwood, who continued to provide excellent Day Care care, education and support for the children and their families of Burwood Australia.

Our enquiry-based project approach embraces the many languages of childhood and encourages children to become enthusiastic participants, actively contributing to their own learning.

Children are encouraged to make discoveries, develop theories, imagine, explore and interpret. The programs also promote a love of learning, independence, co-operation and confidence.

Access to Junior School facilities, resources and specialist staff complements the programs for the three-year-old kindergarten and four-year-old pre-prep children. Music, library, computers, the perceptual motor program, swimming, visiting performers and excursions further enhance the learning environment for our pre-schoolers.

The program for children under three years of age aims to develop the skills of independence, listening, communication and sharing. The emphasis is on sensory exploration and unstructured activities, through which children can explore fully their own creativity. Indoor and outdoor activities are balanced throughout the day and further encourage development in cognitive, social, emotional and gross and fine motor areas.
