Kids Korner believes in providing a service that is caring, secure, healthy, nurturing and educational while striving to create a home like environment that is welcoming and warm.

We believe that all children should be treated with equality, and their cultural and linguistic diversity embraced and acknowledged. We also acknowledge that each child is unique and we aim to provide an environment where children’s eagerness and curiosity is fostered; creative thinking is encouraged; where children can make choices for themselves and are offered time to reflect and explore, encouraging their sense of self. Families are encouraged to share their culture, language and home experiences with the centre. Our emphasis is on partnerships with families and the greater community. Families are encouraged to participate in the centre and share in decision making as they are recognised as their child’s first teacher. They are included in centre activities through our calendar of events and open door policy.
