At Janet Mundy Kindergarten we nurture a strong community atmosphere and are very proud of our relationships with families and their input into all aspects of kindergarten life.

We are a community-based kindergarten with the aim of providing a learning environment that enables children to reach their potential in all areas of development – cognitively, physically, emotionally and socially. Our dedicated and professionally trained educators maintain a warm, supportive and caring environment so that children feel comfortable to be themselves. We strive to foster an inclusive learning environment and we promote a positive self-image in each child.

We believe our play-based programs encourage children to become independent and active learners. Our learning programs are flexible and we adapt these according to the children’s interests and ideas. We believe that this inspires creativity, resourcefulness and a love of learning. It is our goal to encourage and assist each child to reach new heights and extend their ideas every day. These are the foundations for lifelong learning and they will help to facilitate a smooth transition to school.
